Dr. Rachel Van Zile (also known as Dr. Ray) graduated from The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree in biology, then went on to earn her DVM from The Ohio State University in 2019. She subsequently completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at North Carolina State University, followed by a cardiology residency at the same institution.
Her cardiology interests include minimally invasive interventional cardiology and the One Health Initiative, which focuses on treating similar cardiovascular diseases in both human and veterinary medicine.
She is a proud pet parent to LuLu, a 5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and enjoys international travel, keelboat sailing, horseback riding, as well as hiking and running with LuLu.
Dr. Van Zile will practice out of our Cary, North Carolina location.
