Dr. Jenna Welter is leading the team at our Knightdale and Cary locations.
Jenna graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. She then attended the University of Minnesota for veterinary school. After graduation, she relocated to New York City for a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center before continuing on to an internal medicine specialty internship at The Hope Center in Vienna, VA. She completed her 3 year residency in cardiology with CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets in Leesburg, VA. Dr. Welter’s cardiology interests include management of congestive heart failure, feline cardiomyopathies, and cardiac arrhythmias.
Dr. Welter is excited to explore more in the Raleigh area. She enjoys yoga, hiking, and baking for friends and family. She also loves spending time with her two dogs: Oliver, a 10 year old pug, and Eloise, a 2 year old French Bulldog.
