​Dr. Frantz received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She remained in Madison at the University of Wisconsin where she received her doctoral degree in veterinary medicine. Following graduation, she continued her education by completing a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Minnesota before returning to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a residency in cardiology. Dr Franz achieved ACVIM diplomate status in 2022.

Dr. Frantz has enjoyed this new journey outside of the Midwest exploring all that the wonderful state of Colorado has to offer. She enjoys providing exceptional cardiac care as part of the Petcardia team in addition to building lasting relationships with patients and their families. In her free time, Dr. Frantz enjoys playing soccer, adventurous eating, and spending time with her partner, Alex, and their mischievous cat, Milo BB.
