Kate Pouliot is leading the team at our Columbia and Hunt Valley locations.
Dr. Pouliot completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary concentration and a dual degree from the Honors College. She then moved to Blacksburg, Virginia to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school. After graduation, Dr. Pouliot completed a one-year small animal rotating medical and surgical internship at the Texas A&M Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Kate is excited to be back on the east coast and is looking forward to exploring the greater Baltimore area and meeting all of the CVCA pets and clients! In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, traveling, and stand up paddle boarding on the rivers of Maryland. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her two perfect rescue cats (Cassie and Luca). During her residency, she will be located at our Towson, Maryland office inside of Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center.
