Fritz Reuter

Dr. Fritz Reuter is leading the team at our Vienna location.

Fritz Reuter began his career as a veterinary assistant in Fredericksburg, VA while  studying at the University of Mary Washington to earn a Bachelor of Science. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. During his studies, he completed an externship with CVCA and a rotating internship at VCA Southpaws in Fairfax. He is completing his residency with CVCA in Vienna, Virginia. His interests include congenital cardiac malformations, cardiac arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension.

Dr. Reuter grew up in the Northern Virginia area and now lives in Washington D.C. with his partner John and their one-eyed Exotic Shorthair Wilford. He loves to play tennis, try new vegetarian recipes from NYT Cooking, and is working on learning to play the harp. In his downtime, you can find him at a local bookstore or on the couch watching horror movies.
