Dr. Tam is leading the team at our Hunt Valley location.
Peyton Tam was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and is a proud Canadian. She attended the University of Guelph with a major in Animal Biology and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023. Following this, she stayed at the Ontario Veterinary College to complete a 1-year small animal rotating internship. She then moved to the United States to complete a 1-year specialty cardiology internship at the Veterinary Cardiopulmonary Care Center in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Her clinical interests include pulmonary hypertension and the long-term management of degenerative valve disease, which involves optimizing patient quality of life and prioritizing client education.
Dr. Tam has an adorable cat who has saved many lives as a previous feline blood donor, and a fluffy cockapoo. In her free time, she loves exploring the city for new cafes, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
