Sarah L. Holdt - Diplomate, ACVIM (Cardiology)

Dr. Holdt is seeing patients at our Fairfax and Leesburg locations.
Dr. Sarah Holdt is originally from Philadelphia, PA. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. During veterinary school, Dr. Holdt was active in several student groups, and also participated in research investigating inherited metabolic disorders in dogs. After completing a rotating internship at the Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in Vienna, VA, followed by a specialty internship in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Holdt joined CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets in 2014.
She has a strong interest in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, congenital diseases, arrhythmia management, and teaching, and takes an active role in supporting CVCA’s residency training program.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Holdt enjoys spending time with her husband, young sons, and three dogs. Favorite activities include hiking, biking, traveling, singing, and horseback riding.
