Nathan Mitchell - Resident in Cardiology
Nathan Mitchell is a resident at our Richmond, CO location.
Dr. Mitchell was raised in Chantilly, Virginia and obtained his DVM from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing his rotating internship at Michigan State University, Dr. Mitchell returned to Virginia to begin his cardiology residency at the Richmond CVCA.
His primary interests include developing simulation models, non-invasive cardiac procedures, novel tests to predict the progression of heart disease, and teaching.
Outside of being a veterinarian, Dr. Mitchell enjoys playing ice hockey, 3D printing, writing, and taking road trips. He also speaks Spanish
