Katelyn Park - Resident in Cardiology
Katelyn is a resident at our Annapolis, MD location.
Katelyn received her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences, Animal Physiology and Welfare, from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She then earned her BVetMed (DVM equivalent) from the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. She completed a rotating internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio, followed by a Emergency and Critical Care specialty internship at the University of Illinois. She is currently completing her Cardiology Specialty Internship at VCA Mission Valley in San Diego.
Her cardiology interests include management of congestive heart failure, interventional cardiology, and client education.
Originally from South Korea and Canada, Katelyn has enjoyed living and training in multiple countries, which has fostered her passion for diverse, collaborative learning environments. Outside of work, she is a dedicated fan of sci-fi and K-dramas, and she enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee spots, and experimenting with cooking.
