What can I expect from my visit to CVCA locations?
You can expect to learn a lot - and have some fun along the way too.
Location Visits. During the day, you will see our local CVCA team in action - providing exceptional clinical care and delivering unparalleled customer service to the patient families.
Think of this as a window into a "Day in the Life of a CVCA Cardiologist." While no day ever seems the same at CVCA (which makes it such an exciting and great place to work), you can expect to get a feel for what it's like to be a part of CVCA.
Observe Clinical Visits. You will observe patient appointments alongside our team clinical. This will let you see firsthand our technology, processes, and attention to patient care. Also, how we communicate and work with the patient families.
Meet Cardiologists and Technicians - and ask questions. You have an informal setting to ask questions and really understand how we work - from the people who know it best. We also order lunch into the office, which offers another chance to ask questions and get to know what life at CVCA is really like.
Anything I should know about the planned dinner?
Just bring your appetite and curiosity! This is just a time we set aside in a social, informal atmosphere for you to get to know our CVCA team members. We like to keep the dinner informal, lighthearted, and social. It's also a great time to understand CVCA's future plans, direction, and professional opportunities as you think about your own career path.
What should I wear? How should I pack?
During your visit to our location, you have the option to wear scrubs or business casual (with lab coat) - whichever you prefer. At CVCA, some of our cardiologists wear business casual with a lab coat while others prefer scrubs. It's your choice.
For the CVCA dinner, business casual / dinner casual is a great way to go! We are more interested in getting to know you and what your personal and professional goals are, so dress comfortably and be ready for a fun evening with our team.
What should I bring with me?
The only special item to make sure you put in your travel bag: a stethoscope. Aside from that, just pack accordingly for the short trip and bring your curiosity about CVCA. We'll supply the rest.
