Mila’s career in the veterinary field began in 1998. She started working as an assistant for a veterinary referral practice in Dover, NH and eventually earned her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2000. After graduating, she relocated to Northern Virginia where she became a licensed veterinary technician and worked for a primary care veterinary practice in Fairfax for 6 years. Mila always wanted to return to veterinary specialty medicine and was excited to join CVCA – Cardiac Care for Pets in 2006. Mila enjoys free time with her husband, daughter and three dogs-Hermes, a Yorkshire terrier; Ion and Jelly Bean, both Chihuahuas.
