Mal is a native from Maryland. He originally went to college to become a sign language interpreter, but fell in love with the veterinary field instead. He has been working in the veterinary field for the past 12 years. He started as a receptionist at a general practice vet clinic, then worked his way up to kennel assistant, vet assistant and then veterinary technician. Mal has two dogs, “Sophie”, a ten year old cockapoo, “Bean”, a one-eyed 6 year old Shih Tzu and 12 chickens. He enjoys hiking with the dogs, going to the movies and collecting vinyl records.
