After moving from a small town in Maine, Jamie began working in the veterinary field in January of 1991.  For over a decade, Jamie has had the pleasure of working with a great team of cardiologists in order to help out furry family members manage their heart diseases. She also does volunteer work at the YWCA and Anne Arundel County Shelters.  Her free time is spent with close friends, family, her dog “Liberty” and her two cat playmates “Victor” and “Sonnie.”  She also enjoys traveling, cooking and rooting for any sports teams that are from New England!

Growing up in PA, Karen was always surrounded by many beloved pets. She started working at a primary care veterinary hospital in 1996 as a kennel assistant and worked her way up to a veterinary assistant.  Karen received her BA from Penn State University in 2001.  She then moved to northern Virginia with her husband Chris and started working at a primary care veterinary office where she worked 10 years before coming to CVCA. She enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and “Gizmo”, her beloved Miniature Poodle.  As she grew up in PA, her favorite sports teams are the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Flyers!  And you can’t forget the Penn State University Nittany Lions, Go State!
